Many people showed up and met Eric Thomas, the popular Meteorologist for WBTV in Charlotte, NC. Don’t miss out on the video link below from the WBTV News on that day. Eric gave us a great show. It’s hilarious!

Officer Darrell Brown with Liberty, the Police Bomb Dog

Officers Peter Capotosta and Darrell Brown were also there to talk about their special Police dogs. They have worked together on with the Police dogs for about 20 years on the force, and even went to the Police Academy together. A few years ago, Scott McCorkle sponsored their current bomb dog. They named the dog Liberty in his company’s honor, and she is a very impressive German Shepherd, indeed. I know I wouldn’t want to get on her bad side!

Pet owners also need to restrain pets with safety harnesses to keep them from being harmed as easily. Sudden stops and especially vehicle accidents can kill your pet too. Harnesses can be used to restrain them but not make them uncomfortable. Make sure that you find a pet safety harness that is approved for vehicle use. You don’t want your special pal to be hurt or killed. Please take this advice!

Many impressive vehicles can found at any of the Charlotte, Matthews or Monroe, Scott McCorkle’s Liberty Buick GMC Trucks locations. For more information, visit www.clickliberty.com, or call us at 888-306-1908.
